How do I log in to Focus?
Go to https://focus.mvcs.org. Or use the link at the bottom of the MVCS homepage.
Log in to Focus with the user name and password given to you by MVCS. These are given out on registration day or in an email you will receive after registration is over.
It is important that if you change the password given to you, your new password should be of sufficient length and complexity to protect your student's data. Monte Vista protects your student's data with multiple safeguards. Changing your password to a "weak" password (i.e. dog or cat) is highly discouraged and can place your student's data at risk. Keep in mind that passwords are case sensitive.
What is expected of me as a parent using Focus?
We want parents to take full advantage of the tools and quick access to grades, assignments, attendance, calendar, message center, and automatic email alerts. Of course your comments will be appreciated. Send your comments to helpdesk@mvcs.org.
Do we have technical support?
If you forget your password, please call Student Services to have it reset. Student Services also handles all personal contact information change requests. Their number is 831-722-8178 x122.
Please DO NOT contact teachers for technical support, password problems, or address changes. Contact the MVCS Student Services office. Thank you.
