We are currently accepting applications for limited space in our middle school grades 6-8 for 2013-2014.

The Monte Vista Middle School admission process is completed in 4 easy steps.

As you fill out the forms, you'll be asked whether you agree to abide by our Student Handbook and our Statement of Faith.  You can find these documents by clicking on this link:  Parent/Student Handbook


Step 2 - Supplemental Documentation
For teacher evaluations, you can either print a copy and give it to the teacher, or send the teacher a link to this web page, so he or she can print it.

3 - Current and Past 2 Years' Grade Reports/Most Recent Standardized Test Results - copies from home are sufficient; however, if a formal request is necessary at your current school, please click link for a request form.

4 - Immunization Records

Step 3 - Entrance Assessment
All applicants to Monte Vista Middle School will be required to take an Entrance Assessment prior to acceptance.  MVCS utilizes the STAR for this assessment. The results of this test will be used along with grades and teacher evaluations to help in developing the student's academic schedule.  We will also be using the results of this assessment to align our curriculum and instruction to the individual needs of our students.

Once your application has been submitted (Step 1), you will be able to select your preferred assessment date from the available dates below.

Step 4 - Family/Student Interview
Upon the completion of Steps 1 through 3 of the admissions process, we will contact you to schedule a family interview with the Middle School Principal.
