 Boarding Student Fees

 New Student Application Fee:  This fee is charged for each new student upon application for admission.  Please click on “Admissions” for information on applying to Monte Vista Christian School

                          $60 (online)   $80 (paper)

 

Annual Enrollment Fee:  This fee is charged for each student every year at Monte Vista Christian School and must be submitted with the enrollment contract to secure placement in 2010-2011.

Returning Resident Students:     $3,000* (before Feb. 28, 2010)

                                                $3,500* (after Mar. 1, 2010)

                                     

New Resident Students:             $3,000* (within two-weeks of acceptance)

                                                $3,500* (after two-weeks of acceptance)

 

International Resident Student Tuition: $35,550

(including $3,000 enrollment fee*)   

International resident tuition at Monte Vista Christian School includes room and board, writing center, academic advising, college application assistance, weekend trips and activities, vacation airport shuttle, International Processing, SAT/ACT exams at Watsonville High School, a yearbook, one set of P.E. clothing, athletic team fees, technology fees, and all class fees, excluding horsemanship, MarchTerm, special classroom activities and fieldtrips, and library fines.  During non-meal times, items from the café will need to be purchased. Sibling discounts are available. 

I-20    
If a visa is denied, all but $400 will be refunded upon Monte Vista’s receipt of the original denial letter from the U.S. Embassy stating the reason for denial, and the return of the original I-20.  There is a $100 replacement cost for a lost I-20.

 Insurance:  Monte Vista Christian School provides medical insurance including accident/medical expenses, and medical evacuation, for all students attending Monte Vista on an F-1 student visa.  All other students are required to provide medical insurance at their own expense, and provide proof of insurance upon arrival.

English as a Second Language (ESL) Program: The cost for ESL is $3,750 for the school year.  ESL is required for students whose TOEFL score is between 425 and 475.

Transitional English is required for students whose TOEFL score is between 475 and 550.  The cost of this program is $1,250 for the school year.

Payment plans:  Payment plans for one, two, or three payments per year are available.

 

Second Semester Enrollment:

If a student enrolls for the second semester the tuition, room and board (including the enrollment fee) will be $22,530.  Monte Vista does not enroll students for only the first semester.
