Educators Conference August 2012
Nearly 400 teachers and school administrators joined us on August 16-17, 2012 at this year’s educators conference, “Education in a Changing World.”
It is self-evident that we live in a technological society; as Private and Christian Educators we need to take this seriously. Our students are equipped with cell phones, iPods, tablets, laptops, and home computers. Technologies like these have a vital role in global communication and the spread of information.
The challenge that faces us as educators is to demonstrate the responsible use of technology in the classroom and in the curriculum.
Attendees were motivated and challenged by spiritual giants, authors, experts in the field on integration of technology, and teachers who use these tools daily in the classroom.
